This Red IPA is new to the range, just in time to deliver an Autumn beer with colours and flavours to suit the season.  We designed this beer to have a deep amber golden hue and the perfect white head of foam bursting with the spicy, citrus and pine forest aromas. Brewed to be stronger in flavours and alcohol strength we offer this beer kit at a higher starting gravity to help make it authentic, fresh, Red IPA.

This Red IPA takes your regular Amber Ale into IPA territory.  Combining the best of both styles, Red IPA delivers the toffee and toasted malt body wrapped in a symphony of American hop characters from Magnum, Simcoe, Amarillo & Columbus. Brewed to be a bit stronger in alcohol, this beer is the perfect union for those who like a bit more malt character in a West Coast IPA without sacrificing the hoppy flavours they crave. Perfect year round but also outstanding as an autumn treat to match the colour of your beer to the season and bring you a warm inner glow.

Pair Red IPA  with  Manchego, Pecorino or any hard cheese with a sharp, nutty character. Pair with seared red meat finished with black pepper and smoke salt. The malty base of this beer and the wonderful hop spice help to balance spicy Mexican and Indian dishes so from vindaloo to carne asada, you'll find a perfect match with this Red IPA.

NOTE: Supplied in a 16.5 litre HDPE cube. These kits are generally designed to add 3 litres of water immediately prior to fermentation to achieve the ideal balance. You may if you wish, not add the extra water for a richer, higher gravity version.
